 The luscious goodness we know as Odwalla (ode-wall-ah) began with three friends, a few boxes of oranges, and a simple vision: make great juice, do good things for the community, and build a business with heart. Today, over 25 years later, we're still doing just that - adding scrumptious nutritional bars to our repertoire and striving to nourish the rest of the world as much as we nourish your body. 
Tapping music as the inspiration, the company's playful name was born from a favorite musical piece performed by the Art Ensemble of Chicago. In that special song-poem, Odwalla was a leader who guided "the people of the sun" out of the "gray haze" - just as our delicious products help humans break free from the dull mass of over-processed foods so prevalent today.
So let the sweetness stay singing. And the deliciousness dance away. All within the wholesome harmony of a healthy Mother Earth!
