The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Current RN nursing licensure in Texas.
• Strong qualities of leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities will include:
• Assure residents have a clean, safe, orderly, and comfortable environment.
• Assist in implementing recommendations from consultants and the Quality Assurance team as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in resident Care Plan process.
• Evaluate emergencies and assist in implementing emergency measures.
• Assist in notification of physician of any resident incidents and unusual occurrences.
• Accident/Incident Report forms completion and information charted in resident’s medical record as outlined in policies and procedures.
• Start and monitor intravenous medication as ordered.
