Manager, Statistical Programming
We are looking for a talented statistical programming manager to join our team at one of our following facilities: Ann Arbor, MI, Austin, TX, Cary, NC, Basking Ridge, NJ, Indianapolis, IN, Eden Prairie, MN, San Diego, CA, and West Chester, OH.
The Manager of Statistical Programming directs staff on specific projects and facilitates communication between clients and staff.
- Directs the programming aspects of specific client contracts and directs activities of staff with regard to those clients
- Leads the development of and training on Standard Operating Procedures
- Develops software for standard operating systems
- Troubleshoots as required for staff and clients regarding specific programming problems
- Reviews listing, summary, graph, and tabulation specifications
- Provides secondary reviews of Statistical Programming deliverables
- Evaluates commercial software
- Works with internal and external project teams to assure client reporting needs are understood
- Assists in the development of Statistical Programming Staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. Masters degree in the above is preferred.
Experience:
* At least 4 years SAS programming experience within a Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO and 2 or more years of leadership/management experience is required.
* Knowledge of one other 3rd or 4th generation language is preferred.
