Position Description

This technical analyst role is designed to support both the technical and communication relationship between our business and our IT partners.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data and data process flow. Involves technical understanding of architecture and environments supported. Owns all aspects of service delivery in supporting a large complex Microsoft SQL Server suite of applications.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots problems, involves the appropriate resources and makes fixes as quickly as possible.

Coordinates job scheduling and report distribution; contributes to data center standards development and enforcement.

Establishes and maintains scheduled production runs, ensuring that the appropriate databases, files, SQL and documentation are available.

Coordinates activities with computer operations department and user departments to ensure the integrity of the production environment. Participates in system design improvements and performance enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in info systems or related field
• 4 Years IT Production Support experience
• 4 yrs experience in Microsoft SQL Server DBA skills and DTS/SSIS

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 yrs experience with Business Objects Administration
• 2 yrs experience with ETL environment.
• 5 Years IT experience
• 2 Years experience in ITIL processes
• 4 Year experience in Microsoft SQL Database
• AbInitio Experience a plus
