Duties and Responsibilities |
| |
|
This person performs the day to day maintenance duties. This includes but not limited to the following:
- Routine maintenance on the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems of a conveyor system
- Troubleshooting and facilitating routine repairs in a commercial building operation
- Troubleshooting basic electrical issues and communicating repair needs to licensed electricians
- Performing basic forklift maintenance and communicating major repair need to authorized service personnel
- Conducting scheduled test to fire sprinkler system and communicating repairs needed
- Performing housekeeping functions as needed
- Performing routine facility inspections
This position is located at the Distribution Center

Skills and Education |
| |
|
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and move objects up to 120 pounds
- Must have knowledge and ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools
- Must have a basic knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
- Must have basic carpentry skills
- Must pass RadioShack material handling equipment certification (and license) to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
