Telemetry Unit
Registered Nurse Supervisor
Full Time Nights

As a Registered nurse on the Telemetry Unit, you will be able to provide superior nursing care to a wide patient population, with a focus on cardiac. The Telemetry unit has low nurse patient ratios, allowing you the ability to ensure that patient care meets the highest standard of patient and family satisfaction, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Our client located in Grapevine is the regional medical center for Northeast Tarrant, southern Denton and northwest Dallas counties. Located at Highway 114 West and Highway 26 in Grapevine, this hospital is a 197-bed, full-service acute care medical center that provides advanced, comprehensive medical and surgical care.

A recently completed $51 million, six-story patient tower expansion houses new operating room "super suites" equipped with voice activated technology, a new open-heart surgery program and cath lab, a neurosurgery program, an expansion of the women's center, a new intensive care unit, two medical-surgical units, a telemetry unit, expanded gastroenterology services and cardiopulmonary.

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervision of all Nursing and Unit-based personnel on the designated shift in order to provide a safe environment for optimum patient care. Assists in implementing policies and procedures to achieve desired goals and objectives. Facilitates in the development of budgets, continued quality improvement and Councilor Management Programs.

Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree of Nursing or equivalent required
- Bachelors Degree of Nursing preferred
- Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
- 3 yrs of acute care experience at the Cardiac Telemetry Level or above REQUIRED
- 5 yrs of acute care experience at the Cardiac Telemetry Level or above Preferred
- CPR/BLS is required
- ACLS Required
