USAA is currently seeking a talented
Investment Services Representative for our
San Antonio, Texas location.
As an
Investment Services Representative for USAA, you will have one of the most important roles in our company. In this position you'll spend approximately 90% of your day handling in-bound phone calls from our current members. Your goal is to assess our member's financial situations and goals and make appropriate financial product recommendations. You'll advise them on an array of financial issues such as: retirement planning, college funding, and asset allocation. You will recommend appropriate financial strategies based on member's goals, individual needs.
*Must be able to work extended hours between the times of 9:30am - 8pm, Monday - Saturday. 38 - hour work week schedules to include weekly Saturday duty.*

- Structured training (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday for 6-8 weeks). Retention of employment is contingent upon passing certification at the end of the training.
- 40 or 38-hour work weekly work schedules (38 Hour Schedule: Three 10-hour days + 8 hours Saturdays. Not eligible for USAA designated holiday pay. Adjusted PTO accrual rate)
- Highly likely a 38 hour Saturday schedule will be assigned based on current business needs.
- 30% Shift Premium pay (work scheduled: after 6pm, M-F & Saturdays).
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- 1+ years of industry related customer contact experience and/or relevant internal product proficiency.
- FINRA Series 7 & 63.
- 1 year of financial services experience (to include Life, Investments or Financial Planning).
Preferred:
- FINRA Series 65, Texas Life & Health licenses and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)/Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Relationship skills are critical to success in this sales position.
- Ability to listen, understands, and confidently influences others to a positive outcome.
