Where appropriate, communicates client service issues to Agency Sales Executives and or insurance producers. 2.Checks accuracy and completeness of all agency and direct bill transactions (policies; endorsements; audits, etc.). Updates data and documents activity in agency operating (AOS) and management (Vision) systems. Communicates directly with insurance company in the event that policy changes become necessary. Updates and maintains Agency client inventory on an as needed basis. 3.Reviews renewals that will be marketed according to current management policy. Monitors expiration list in accordance with agency procedures. Submits information to insurance companies in accordance with each company’s specifications. Works to ensure agency maintains renewal retention goals and objectives. 4.Issues certificates of insurance as needed. 5.Ensures Agency is in compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. Follows all Agency rules and procedures. 6.Where required, maintains active Property and Casualty Insurance License. ISR’s that possess such license must attend continuing education classes and seminars to keep license in active status. 7.Communicates directly with insurance company partners to address issues surrounding policy cancellation, reinstatement and non-renewal. Acts on behalf of client in resolving client problems with the insurance carrier. 8.Where possible, assists policyholders who have sustained a insurable loss. Works with insurance carriers to ensure that any claim data the agency receives is forwarded to the insurance carriers claims department. 9.Maintains relationships with clients and anticipates future needs, and calls established clients to renew and upgrade accounts. 10.Performs special requests and projects at management’s request. Functional Responsibility - Responds to customer service inquiries received within the ADP Insurance Agency; Issues Certificates of Insurance on an as needed basis; follow up with insurance carriers on policy cancellations and reinstatements; handles basic reporting tasks as directed by Customer Service Team Manager. Decision Making Judgment - Able to answer basic customer questions based on data provided by various operating systems within the agency as well as client files. Must be able to evaluate situations that require elevation to a senior team member and/or team manager. Insurance Service Representatives (ISR’s) will draw upon their insurance industry experience to handle more complex client inquiries. ISR’s will determine on a case by case basis those situations that may require elevation to a senior team member and/or team manager. Accountability - Accountable for providing timely, accurate information to insurance clients and insurance carrier partners. Must have strong working knowledge of all agency procedures and systems. Responsible for overall client satisfaction. ISRs are accountable for management of the agency renewal book of business; managing and maintaining the agency client inventory and the research and resolution of NSF payments. Contacts(Internal/External) - Internal contacts - ADP Insurance Agency producers, implementation specialists, other ISR’s. External contacts - insurance clients, insurance carrier partners, outside insurance producers. |

Highly motivated; able to multi task; strong organizational skills; effective oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills; client service orientation; effective time management skills; PC knowledge. ISR will have a working knowledge of insurance operations and practices and would have some experience working in an insurance agency and/or insurance company setting.
