Position Description:
This position will be responsible for the design and implementation of a new database system to provide support for internal departments. Must have experience and knowledge of normalization, relational databases, query tuning and process documentation. Direct contact with both website development team and business customers will provide requirements and informal specifications which will guide the build and enhancement processes. Must have good communication skills and be able to work with non-technical business users to understand issues and requests. Need to be able to communicate technical information in business terms to gain buy in from non-technical business leaders and increase understanding of the product.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience architecting, tuning, implementing, and operating complex SQL Server databases
  • Experience developing, organizing, managing, implementing, and providing security for SQL Server 2005 Databases
  • Experience deploying and administering SSIS packages and SSIS reports
  • 2+ years of Project Coordination experience

  • Documentation skills
  • MS SQL Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Architect
  • Bachelor's Degree
