Position Description




In this role you will be responsible for coordination of the collection of supply chain data needed to conduct analysis to monitor shipments and inventory status.
  • Work cross functionally with Seagate's Account Managers, with our kitting facility (RR Donnelley) and with key external customers
  • Facilitate end to end supply management
  • Monitor the progress of orders through the Order Processing system and notify the team regarding supply gaps and provide analysis for resolution
  • Function as the onsite team member for validation and maintain progress on work orders being dropped
  • Responsible for obtaining POs for kitting, rework, and other work orders needing completion at RR Donnelley
  • Validate and maintain progress on work orders being dropped
  • Ensure that all open POs are shipped and confirm by working with the Account Manager to be sure that the supply can cover gaps
  • Facilitate working conference calls with the key customer and RR Donnelley


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the Hard Disc Drive industry with a background in Supply Chain Management and an understanding of the kitting model are preferred
  • BA or equivalent experience
  • 5 years Project Management experience
  • Ability to self manage and adhere to strict time management skills including priority setting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills with focus on data integrity
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Independent Decision Making capabilities understanding the data and risks associated with the decision
  • Advanced Computer Skills - Excel, Coding, Access, DBMS, Word, Email Interface
