Due to our consistent growth and progressive business objectives, we are searching for an experienced Store Manager to lead our new Sales team in Ft. Worth, TX. This individual must have the ability to take a hands-on approach in coaching, motivating, and training our staff to achieve goals!
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Selling
Greet Customers who come onto the lot or into the store.
Coordinate vehicle selection.
Negotiate selection, terms, and down payment with customers as needed.
Solicit outside referral sources at other dealerships.
Training
Coach, mentor, motivate, and train consultative Sales staff.
Hold 1-1’s with sales staff.
Deal working/selling/closing – ie our sales process.
Teach phone etiquette and marketing techniques to Sales staff.
Saturday morning training meetings, management conference calls, teaching moments.
Monitoring
Monitor store productivity and compare to established goals.
Monitor selling/marketing efforts, and results, on a weekly basis.
Review scheduling/punctuality, as well as schedule compliance.
Review training progress of new hires.
Monitor and help develop each sales person's individual action plans.
Observe managers & salespeople make phone calls.
Watch salespeople work deals, observe staff interaction with customers.
Monitor consistency/compliance with the CarHop system.
Monitor newly hired salespeople to ensure they proceed as expected through their first 90 days of their employment.
Administrative
Plan for weekly managers meetings/conference calls.
Resolve customer complaints/deposit issues as needed.
Complete performance appraisals for direct reports.
Continually review staffing levels and anticipate needed changes. Document staffing plans and justify the need to add or delete staff based on activity levels, anticipated openings, etc. Update this analysis monthly.
Responsible for inventory and making sure vehicles get properly registered.
Actively participate in recruiting activity.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years previous personnel management or supervisory experience is required.
Basic understanding of math concepts specifically related to vehicle purchases (i.e. down payments, regular payments, principal and interest) is required.
Strong verbal in-person & telephone communications, good customer service, problem-solving & independent work skills.
Must be willing to work evenings & Saturdays
