Main Responsibilities:

• Provide sales, service & promotion of water treatment products to existing & new accounts
  
• Understand customer operations to develop & recommend chemical treatment & equipment solutions for compliance w/ local & federal regulations
  
• Review operational cost factors to maximize total efficiency of water treatment technology
  
• Cultivate business relationships w/ customer stakeholders through professional demeanor & interpersonal skills
  
• Monitor product performance & conduct chemical tests on boiler water, cooling water & wastewater; translate test results to proposals addressing actions to ensure &/or enhance proper water chemistry & system operation
  
• Jumpstart your career w/ on-the-job training & training at Ecolab Univ.
  

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related engineering/science required
  
• 2 yrs exp in industrial water treatment chemical sales & service (boiler/cooling tower/waste water)
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 yrs outside sales exp preferred
  
• Self-motivation & drive for results
  
• Organizational/time mgmt skills
  
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects & adapt to changing business needs
  
• Relationship mgmt & consulting abilities
  
• Proven negotiation & presentation skills
  
• General mechanical & problem-solving ability
  
• Above avg. MS Office skills
  
• Home office w/ Internet access capability
  
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
