SUMMARY:
Responsible for sales of Instrument Support Group products and services and responsible for new business development and overall revenue growth of the LabOps South Division within the Southern defined geographic territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell Instrument Support Group products and services in a regional market
Track sales calls and quotes for ISO and reporting purposes
Collaborate with operational staff to support the development of relationships with customers
Work to generate leads through participation in trade organizations, networking groups, and trade shows/industry meetings
Attend sales and product training
Meet quarterly and yearly sales goals
Ability to work independently and travel as needed (up to 50%) to develop assigned geographic locations and client base
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sales experience in the science industry preferred
Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation preferred
