Position Description

EMPLOYER NAME: Mustang Engineering, LP
 
POSITION:  Technical Professional - Process
 
WORKSITE: Houston, TX
 
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Development of process design documentation including feed capacity and physical properties, product quality requirements, battery limits conditions for all feeds and products and any special design considerations; Plant conceptual process planning including block flow diagram preparation and analysis; process simulation of the various unit operations involved including distillation, reactions, heat transfer, extraction; equipment rating and sizing calculations; process flow diagram and heat and material balance calculations; development of Piping and instrument diagrams; line list development; infrastructure analysis and design including utilities, flare, sour water stripping, amine, etc; determination of emergency relief loads for individual occurrences; and, hydraulic calculations.  
 
REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field. Position also requires 6 months education or experience with Chemical Engineering Unit Operations (distillation, heat transfer, etc.); and, Unit Operations Simulation using typical industry software and hydraulics calculations for process plants.
