Acara Solutions has an open internship role for a Logistics Project Professional.
Mon-Fri 20-40hrs week - Flexible
4-6 Month contract
Rates begin at 24.30/hr, DOE
* Maintains, updates and communicates relevant information (regarding status, progress, and scheduling for SCM Strategy working groups.
* Conducts research and analysis on established S&OP
* Supports the development of materials planning and validation for processes and tools
* Supports the development of materials planning and purchasing functions to support production requirements
* Supports research and instruction on current SAP functionality, as appropriate assists in the development of enhancements/automation of SAP tools for better SCM analytics
* Assists in the refinement/development of sound physical and virtual material movement processes across: receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping
* Assists in improvements and corrections to material masterdata setting
* Assists in the refinement/development of sound inventory control processes
* Analyzes operational logistic status, informs involved stakeholders adequately - as directed, derives and implements alternative measures to adopt to changing situations.
* Documents processes across the business unit's value stream to synergize site level processes into a cohesive business unit standard.
* Possesses thinking focused on analyzing, evaluating, prioritizing and solving operational issues and incidents or helps to pilot optimizing tools used in processes.
* While working under supervision, learn and grow through advice and assistance while maintaining individual responsibilities and initiative.
* "Professional Starter" Position supporting business processes, solutions for technical issues, development of new methodologies, procedures, tools and products with their theoretical and/or practical know how and understanding. They focus on interpretation and application of procedures, analyze issues, implement changes, and may advise and guide operational positions in their area of specialism.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years SAP experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Industrial Engineering enrollment towards Bachelor's program or degree in hand
Experience within warehouse environment
