Make an Impact

Fossil Group is seeking an exceptional Sr. Jewelry Designer to join the Fossil Jewelry Design team. This experienced jewelry enthusiast will have excellent brand awareness, strong leadership skills as well as a true passion for jewelry design.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support Creative Director in all design related initiatives including CAD renderings; project management, collection development and Calendar management
• Design and illustrate a high volume of new jewelry concepts and styles
• Mentor and coach junior designers
• Review samples and update revisions
• Present work to team and management
• Prepare technical packages and deliver to calendar deadlines.
• Communicate with internal partners as well as manufacturers based in Asia
• Collaborate and develop close working relationships with the design team, product development, sourcing and Factories.
• Maintain current knowledge of competitive marketplace.

Your Skills

• 5-8 years jewelry design experience required
• Bachelor's degree in fashion or jewelry design preferred
• Excellent sketching skills and free hand drawing/rendering skills
• Strong Computer Skills are essential in the following: Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Excellent 3D CAD skills required
• Collaborative and Flexible - must have the ability to work with the team under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of competitive retail market
• Passion and understanding of the brand
