Job Description

Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking Design Project Manager to join our Industrial team!

Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan's integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Participate in design meetings and/or project team meetings
  • Establish agendas, partner in leading meetings, document and communicate meeting decisions
  • Develop resource plan, including internal and consultant management
  • Participate in Consultant Contract process including creating RFPs, soliciting proposals, selecting consultants in partnership with Director and department leadership, executing contracts, and managing consultant's scope
  • Participate in creating and managing design schedule
  • Manage project scope through tracking and communicating open items and priorities

To be successful in this role, a Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Technical is required. You must have 12 years of experience. You must be able to problem solve and manage the design process, ensuring that design intent is executed on time and on budget, both as part of a collaborative team and perform work independently.

You will really stand out if you:

  • Have a strong knowledge of Revit.
  • Are working through your Architectural licensure process.
  • Have experience working in Bluebeam.
  • Are LEED AP Certified and/or WELL AP Certified.
  • Have the knowledge and willingness to learn building codes, documentation and constructability.
