Job Overview

This role will serve as the Services Finance Manager reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) OmniOn Power with matrix reporting as the finance business partner to the VP of Services business. This role will be responsible for the financial management of the Services business, including coordination and direction of the accounting, budget, forecast and strategic planning and all other activities necessary for a successful financial function. The Services Finance Manager will demonstrate financial leadership in assisting the OmniOn Power Services organization in meeting short-term and long-term business goals. The Services Finance Manager will oversee and own financial results for related Services product lines in alignment with the Services Manager.

Responsibilities:

As the Services Finance Manager, you will:

  • Demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Serve as a business partner to the services team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability.
  • Assist in providing analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and coordinate timely updates via financial reviews.
  • Drive financial process improvement initiatives throughout the business.
  • Partner with technical / business leaders and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for cost optimization, productivity, and inventory/cash/receivables management.
  • Develop estimates, operating plans, forecasts, reviews, reports.
  • Develop and establish financial policies & procedures including owning and managing relevant internal controls for the service business
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure controllership and consistency of accounting process across the operations, drive controllership awareness and processes through operations teams and ensures finance compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or other related degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years business working in progressive finance positions with cross-functional teams.

Desired Characteristics / experience:

  • Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or MBA degrees
  • Preferred more than 10 years business working in progressive finance positions with cross-functional teams, growth in scope/role/complexity over this career progression.
  • Experience with engineered manufactured products and services.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supporting the financials for a services function, aftermarket business.
  • Experience in cost accounting, set standard labor rates and related project costing.
  • Experience in project reporting, project margin and pre/post order analysis
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP system
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills.
  • Previous experience in the Power Electronics, Telecommunication, Data Center
  • Working knowledge of growing a Service offering across an installed base
  • Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Familiarization with NPI process
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
  • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Established analytical and project management ability.
