Financial Reporting Compliance Manager
The Financial Reporting Compliance Manager manages regulatory compliance oversight activities for Regulation W and other compliance areas that impact financial reporting and accounting. Collaberates with business units, legal and Corporate Compliance to ensure proper awareness of Regulation W transactions and prepares reporting on applicable program components and metrics. Establishes and maintains internal processes and controls to streamline accurate reporting on accounting and reporting-related compliance issues and serves as primary point of contact for regulators and internal collegaues on such matters. Review the quarterly FRY-8 affiliate transaction report to the Federal Reserve and assists with other internal and external reporting projects.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Regulation W and other accounting/reporting-related compliance areas by collaberating with the First Line of Defense (business units), as well as legal and Corporate Compliance, on transactions and processes that may have Regulation W impacts, including for any new or changed products and services.
  • Establish and oversee proper controls and processes for accounting and reporting-related compliance issues, including issues being tracked by the Regulation W Oversight Committee.
  • Support reporting requirements related to Reguation W and other compliance areas, including key metrics on Regulation W transactions and intercompany cost allocations, as well as reporting to external regulators.
  • Support regulatory oversight and exam-related activities, including researching and analyzing reporting and/or documentation requirements.
  • Lead or execute special projects on an as needed basis, including developing and/or reviewing training and other informational presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited college/university
  • 5 years of Accounting, Finance or Reporting experience, financial services or regulatory reporting preferred
  • 2 years of Management abd staff development experience
  • Prior experience drafting and managing reporting policies
  • Prior experience with SEC or regulatory reporting requirements
  • Strong grasp of complex regulatory concepts balanced with operational and business understanding
  • Past experience with reporting applications, such as Workiva
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite with strong experience using PowerPoint and Excel
