• Complete physican orders by retrieving orders and completing the necessary steps associated with processing to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Assist with inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies by replinishing supplies, documenting items to be ordered, and rotating stock to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Assist in the maintenance of orderliness and cleanliness of the department.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Texas Registration through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
• Ability to calculate and compound medication orders

Preferred Job Requirements

• Intravenous Admixture Certification Course through an approved ACPE provider
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Previous pharmacy experience
