Job Description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment

* Coordinate, track, and maintain all work orders

* Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion and include pertinent information for equipment files

* Maintain up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints, and schematics

* Data enter procurement and inventory records by appropriate category (e.g., account, cost center, project)

* Print and/or provide corrective work orders, preventive maintenance work orders, and parts automatic orders on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis

* Generate a variety of reports for management (e.g., back-order, inventory, productivity reports)

* Assist in ordering and receiving of maintenance related parts and materials; process purchase orders

* Track maintenance spending

* Assist in the coordination of incoming contractors

* Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

* Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 1 to 3 years clerical, production, or general work experience

* Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems

* Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail

* Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision

* Able to multi-task

* Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems

* Able to work effectively in a team environment

* Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

* Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

* Must be able to read, write and speak English
