Job Description

This role has the opportunity to work hybrid. During the interview process, our Talent Acquisition Team will share additional details with you.

Under general supervision, incumbent is responsible for the administration and servicing of the Bank's Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan portfolios to include but not limited to Dealer Floor Plans, Borrowing Base, Revolving and Non-Revolving Lines of Credit, Term loans, CRE Participations (bought/sold) and SBA.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payment and advance requests which includes application review and analysis to ensure proper payment application or adequate availability to support advance requests.

  • Perform general loan file maintenance and code changes.

  • Set-up payments via ACH or AFT

  • Process fee waivers

  • Prepare wire instructions and input into the wire system and/or credit funds to borrower's deposit account.

  • Receive daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers, banking assistants, and customers. Perform the necessary analysis, research, and system input.

  • Provide timely and accurate payoff quotes when requested.

  • Ensure all communications occur timely and accurately.

  • Scan documents into system of record documentation depository

  • Accurately calculate required accrual adjustments for reversal transactions to ensure adjustments are completed correctly.

  • Review daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports. Perform any necessary system maintenance to ensure loan portfolio is being serviced in compliance with Bank policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Assist with special projects within Loan Operations department

  • May be asked to book new, renewed or modifications

  • Assist with the development of standard operating loan servicing procedures and/or job aides

  • Cross train and/or step in to fill roles where gaps may exist within the Loan Operations Department

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent general education certificate (GED) required AND

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in customer service or loan operations-related position in a banking environment

  • Minimum of 5 years of servicing Commercial, SBA and Commercial Real Estate loans

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting loan officers/lending assistants OR Bachelor's degree AND Minimum of 2 years of experience working in customer service or loan operations-related position in a banking environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of servicing Commercial, SBA and Commercial Real Estate loans

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting loan officers/lending assistants

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (e.g., create new documents, edit existing files, create tables, sort/filter data, print documents, generate new records, email, and calendaring)

  • Knowledge of real estate loan compliance regulations

  • Basic problem solving and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal communication skills and customer service skills to interact professionally with all levels of management

  • Strong written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and composition

  • Ability to work independently with a professional demeanor and be self-motivated with a cooperative attitude

  • Must have ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and meet demanding deadlines

  • Ability to perform daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements

  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

  • Must be able to work harmoniously as a team player
