Job Description

Summary : Delivery of merchandise to Customers within expected time parameters.

Essential Functions:
Deliver merchandise according to pre-determined route.
Unload correct merchandise and check order, note any corrections.
Complete all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of day. Communicate with Manager any system or documentation problem identified;
Pick-up returned merchandise, per return authorization. Complies with all DOT regulations;
Performs safety and housekeeping duties as pertains to Edward Don & Company and OSHA as assigned.
Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to customers and all levels of staff.

External Qualifications

Essential Physical Requirements:
Maintain DOT required health permit.
Bends, stoops, climbs, twists, stands and lifts between 60-100 lbs. while loading and unloading truck at every stop, (15-30 stops per day).
Sitting and driving for exceeding period of time.

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent essential.
Local delivery must have Class A or B CDL with good driving record and ability to maintain while employed; must be able to comply with all DOT regulations.
Multi-stop delivery experience preferred
