Job Description


SUMMARY

Assist the Maintenance/Construction Department by performing one or all of the below listed duties. Must be able to satisfy any applicable physical ability testing that may be required for the position. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Sr. Supervisor, direct and coordinate activities concerned with the maintenance and repair of Company equipment and/or facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical associated with Company facilities and equipment.
    1. Automated foundry equipment such as hydraulic valves and cylinders
    2. Belt conveyor systems
    3. Pneumatic transport devices
    4. Large industrial mixers
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required on Company equipment.
  • Thread and install air and water piping on occasion.
  • Restoring equipment.
  • Perform all work duties with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
  • Perform all job duties without posing a direct threat to his/her coworkers' safety or welfare.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs as needed.
  • Perform minor welding operations as needed.
  • Assist in the training of new employees.
  • Perform all work duties with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
  • Assist in the training of new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have four or more years' experience as an industrial mechanic.
  • Must be able to pass a forklift driving certification test.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to apply concepts of basic math to practical situations.
