Job SummaryThe Metabolomics Facility in Children's Research Institute at UT Southwestern is seeking a masters-level analytical chemist with 1-2 years experience in mass spectrometry, or a bachelor-level chemist with 2-3 year experience in mass spectrometry. Job responsibilities include data analysis, sample preparation, and method development. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and improve day-to-day operations of the Metabolomics Facility to ensure high through-put, efficiency, and quality mass spectrometry data. Tasks could include, but are not limited to data quality review, instrument quality control review, data storage and organization, sample batch submission, training collaborators on mass spectrometry software, and data review with collaborators.
