The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination and general administrative support for the procurement team. The role reports directly to the Senior Director Construction Operations. The role partners closely with the Strategic Sourcing Manager to support on-time execution across the portfolio, ensuring details are effectively managed and executed.


Responsibilities

* Work with Procurement team to develop bid packages including statement of work, KPIs, pricing matrix, and to facilitate RFP activity including RFP development, transmitting to invited suppliers, facilitating site tours, and coordinating answers to supplier questions.

* Prepare and facilitate contracts with suppliers, utilizing templates and processes to ensure accuracy in areas such as final negotiated Scope of Work, Pricing, Site & Equipment Lists.

* Support evaluation of quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of services and equipment.

* Assist in the purchase order approval process.

* Coordinate standard submittals for stocked equipment and project specific submittals for owner-furnished equipment.

* Coordinate shipping, receiving, and storage as applicable for owner-furnished equipment.

* Support preparation and execution of business reviews with critical vendor partners.

* Maintain organized records and establish tracking to manage the workflow of multiple concurrent sourcing events.

* Track and manage the company's owner furnished equipment stocking program at a detailed, tactical level.

* Provide general administrative support including, but not limited to maintain database of vendors (supplier, subcontractors, logistics providers), pricing (quote, bids, etc.) for reference by the Procurement team.

* Attend meetings as requested, taking detailed meeting minutes, maintaining meeting records and responsible for the distribution of information to the team.

* Work with the Procurement team to improve process and procedure documents.

* Review existing contracts with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility.

* Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.

* Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

* Previous working experience as a Purchasing Coordinator or Manager for 2+ years

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred

* Intermediate knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms

* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and the flexibility to handle multiple competing priorities

* Detail-oriented with strong analytical & presentation skills (Excel & PowerPoint expertise required)

* Excellent customer service and negotiating skills

* Experience using MRP ERP software and tools

* Experience with procuring data center mechanical and electrical equipment

* Growth Mindset

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
