Job Description
THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties 1. Ensures the safe transportation and delivery of CNG to required facilities. 2. Closely monitors gas delivery pressure by means of gauges and regulators prior to and during operations. 3. Ensures that the appropriate size, type and model of regulation equipment are on hand prior to delivery. 4. Ensures the safe operation of compression equipment as required by manufacturer requirements. 5. Safely operates the fleet vehicles in all types of weather and road conditions. 6. Performs general maintenance and trouble-shooting as required for technical support of station and portable fleet equipment. 7. Completes required documentation and reporting for projects completed and recorded gas usage. 8. Responsible for refueling fleet equipment on mobile and stationary sites. 9. Performs preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections of all fleet related equipment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Educational/Experience Level: High school diploma and two years of natural gas construction and maintenance or service field experience; or equivalent. Communication Skills: Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on a variety of subjects. Computer Skills: Requires ability to utilize the Company's internet/intranet web site and available resources for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 53 pounds to 43 inches. (Ex. lifting fire extinguisher). Work Conditions: Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders. Due to the nature of the services required employees will be required to travel extensively overnight and extended travel. Requires the ability to use physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment and tools. May work standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling. Must be able to lift up to 53 pounds. May be on call weekly for 24 hours a day. Other Requirements: Class A CDL with Hazardous Material Endorsement Texas Railroad Commission CNG Certification Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) and classroom training for position and any other required OQs and classroom training or certifications. As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
