The role

This role at Hitachi Digital Services entails being a seasoned MES (Manufacturing Execution System) application developer with a comprehensive background in IT and computer science. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and implementing MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) solutions across various industry verticals.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing MOM solutions in one or more industry verticals.
  • Experience in configuring/modelling manufacturing process, production management, electronic work instruction, quality management, downtime management, material and warehouse management, labor management, equipment maintenance, overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Experience in OPC server integration, SAP system integration, IBA system integration, MuleSoft gateway integration.
  • Understanding of the enterprise application integration technologies such as Service Oriented Architectures, Plant to Enterprise integration and Business Process Modelling
  • Skills in database technologies Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2014 / 2016 / 2017/ 2019
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET framework, .Net core with version 4.0 plus development platform, Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019
  • Experience in the client-server technologies (WEB development). C#, C++, JavaScript, HTML5, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, NHibernate, Spring.NET, React JS, OPC DA and UA
  • Experience in working on lower version software's including .Net framework 3.5, NHibernate 3,3, Winform2015, Northwoods Go 4.1
  • Experience in developing and supporting applications on Azure cloud and on-prem is a must.
  • Understanding enterprise business systems (ERP systems). Experience in the field of business intelligence (OLAP and Data Warehousing, Microsoft Reporting Services). Edge and the cloud technologies
  • Understanding of the enterprise application integration technologies such as Service Oriented Architectures, Plant to Enterprise integration and Business Process Modelling
  • Be involved and take ownership of end-to-end delivery - from solution design, estimation, development, testing and deployment.
  • Uphold quality standards including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability, and usability by applying best practice processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Contribute to the design and build evolution of the platform, ensuring it stays scalable, dependable, and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and QA to design, develop and deploy new platform features and functionality.
  • Strong abstraction, analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Prior experience on ABB ability manufacturing operations management is preferable.
As required by the Equal Pay and Transparency Acts, the expected base salary for this position is $125k-$150k(Base) + Bonus + Benefits.

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Service's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
