This Clinical Pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers, and hospital staff via a focus on compounding (nonsterile and sterile) program oversight, compounding education and competency, and related quality initiatives. The Clinical Pharmacist is committed to continuous quality improvement and ensuring the in-house compounding program prepares compounded preparations of exceptional quality and safety while creatively meeting diverse needs of the pediatric population. The Clinical Pharmacist works closely with pharmacy leadership to ensure that all compounding activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount.
