Your Contribution

  • Lead and facilitate external (client-facing) events and conference planning from concept to conclusion.
  • Manage and facilitate corporate meetings for the Board of Directors and their retreats, Sector retreats and events, University of Parkhill, Parkhill Connections, and coordinate other events as needed.
  • Manage all event decor and signage in coordination with appropriate team members.
  • Manage food and beverage, including chef or catering selection for all internal and external events, if needed.
  • Serve as the project manager for all events, monitor and manage event timelines, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist the Creative Content team in marketing and publicizing all events.
  • Leads and facilitates designing and editing event programs and promotional materials.
  • Manage and hire the production team for audiovisual equipment.
  • Assist Sector Leadership in establishing the attendee list, sending invitations, and managing the RSVP list, if required.
  • Supervises and hires event support staff, including technical and security personnel, to help manage the event.
  • Prepare and manage all event budgets and collaborate with accounting to review and finalize invoicing.
  • Submit progress reports to management for each event project.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support, and pre-and post-event evaluations.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • Experience leading and facilitating large-scale events and conferences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport face-to-face and remotely.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strongly detail-oriented.
  • Innovative in solving problems and finding information.
  • Exude a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented focus.
  • Multitask, prioritize, and self-manage tasks from start to finish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Adobe Suite.
