Acara Solutions has partnered with an industry-leading Smart Infrastructure manufacturer to hire 2 Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for their south Grand Prairie location.
Shift:
1st - 6am - 230pm
2nd - 4pm - 1230am - NOTE: Will Train on 1st for up to a month
Rates:
26.33 - 29.16, based on relevant experience
2nd shift receives 0.60 shift differential
Role Description:
*Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs quickly and safely to prevent any impacts to production operations
*Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as motors, switches, pneumatic valves, control panels, & computer equipment
*Assemble, wire, and test new equipment according to engineering specifications
*Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure cleanliness, optimal performance, and minimize downtime
*Collaborate with production personnel to address reported issues & provide training or instruction as needed
*Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance activities
* Plans and executes assigned maintenance projects.
* Analyzes technical problems on site, and completes repairs and work orders, with specific reference to electronic systems.
* Executes ramp up, set up and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
* Contributes to installation projects on site to support Operations & Engineering team.
* Supports maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment.
* May advise junior staff technically.
*Operates with a range of machines and equipment, which effectively need different parameter setting and intensive control of production process. May include automated line
production control in relatively medium complex environment.
*operates in the set-up, maintenance, repair and/or installation of dedicated machines in the production line.
*Contributes to fairly complex, however routine and repetitive assembly processes, where a team of differently qualified specialists is involved. Positions need basic level of theoretical and practical know how, skills and typically some years of experience, in specialized processes, techniques and systems used in office, production or factory environment.
*Automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines are examples for this level or work.
