Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Linux Operating Systems, FORTRAN, Ada, and C++
- Minimum 5 years of Previous simulation or Avionics experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Real-Time development
- Training system simulation experience
- Knowledgeable with MIL-STD 1553 interfaces
- Management of software baselines, including branching, merging, building, maintaining, and installing software
- Excellent demonstrated technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively work across disciplines and achieve consistent quality results
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills
- General computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
- Adaptable as the business environment changes resulting in responsibility and technology changes
- Simulation or stimulation experience with any CNI subsystems such as ARC-201, ARC-210, ARC-231, HSD-440, VDL-4000 VHF Data Link, IDM-304, TTR-921 TCAS, AN/ARN-153 TACAN, AN/ARN-147 VOR/ILS/MB Multi-Mode Receiver, AN/ARN-149 Low Frequency ADF Receiver, AN/APG-209(G) Radar Altimeter, AHC-3000A, EGI, AN/APX-118(V) IFF Transponder
- Experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming
- ClearCase, ClearQuest configuration management tool experience
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies (e.g., White/Gray/Black box testing)
