Salary & Benefits: $25.24 / hour. Shift differentials for off-shifts of $1.00/hour. Vacation after 500 working hours and benefits after 30 days.
Summary – This job entails working in a fast-paced production environment. Main tasks include operation of blast equipment, cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint/shipping, as well as operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.
Training may partially be on 1st shift. The incumbent will eventually work on 3rd shift.
Responsibilities – Employee is responsible for operation of blast equipment to blast parts clean for NDE inspection and for surface preparation for paint application. Blast operators are also responsible for cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, operation of forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 Tons), prepping parts for shipment, and maintaining general cleanliness of work areas.
