The Opportunity:

The Maintenance Supervisor will provide direction for assigned members to the maintenance department.This person directs employees and will issue disciplinary action. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. If there are complaints, disputes, or issues regarding employee performance or behavior, management should be consulted before action is taken.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Responsible for assessing and recommending a holistic maintenance plan as well as individual repairs for facility and associated equipment including repairs, recommending new equipment, expected gains, managing vendors/contractors, setting and maintaining budgets and establishing/managing project plans for the Jonestown, PA Distribution Center. Assess current state and condition of electrical controls and write cost analysis reports for maintaining and upgrading machinery and electrical and controls systems.

Supervises daily functions of the Facilities staff including skilled trades and maintenance workers and housekeepers (regular and seasonal employees) that work on buildings, systems and equipment to ensure the day to day facilities are clean, safe, and function in an efficient manner to reach business objectives. Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

Accountable for staff performance and development to maximize the organization's and individual's effectiveness. Mentor and trains staff to ensure they are able to safely, accurately and efficiently complete duties of role and that they are developing skills to advance their skillset and leadership capabilities. Serve as management contact for internal employees on assigned shifts.


What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma and 4+ years of Supervisory experience in a maintenance and/or construction related projects.Experience related to a variety of trades such as electrical, carpentry, welding, HVAC, forklift maintenance & mechanical repair

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Welding Certification, HAZMAT, electrical and mechanical experience required.
  • A technical electrical background of PLCs and VFD and motor changing experience.
  • Adept at planning and managing large projects and solid understanding and experience in budgeting/finance.
  • A technical electrical background of PLCs and VFDs.
  • Preventative maintenance software management (i.e., Computerized Maintenance Management System (or CMMS).
  • Ability to train maintenance staff in the more technical areas and provide bench strength; strong leadership & team building skills.
  • Ability to be on-call in case of a system breakdown, facility incident or emergency
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Must be able to problem-solve effectively and independently while delegating as necessary and appropriate.
  • Attention to detail and strong organization and follow-through
  • Resilient in dealing with fluctuating workload and priorities
  • Identify and implement changes to improve processes and customer service.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License, and welding certificate.
