Job Overview:

We are on the lookout for an innovative and data-informed Marketing Program Manager, Teachers who can craft a compelling teacher strategy and spearhead campaigns for Lexia. Your primary role is to bolster our brand's impact, excite and mobilize educators, and foster meaningful connections leading to lasting collaborations.

The Marketing Program Manager, Teachers will advocate Lexia Learning's initiatives across various channels through cohesive strategies designed to activate and engage the K-12 teacher audience. You'll be responsible for devising, implementing, and evaluating campaigns across platforms including email, direct mail, content sharing, digital advertising media, SEM, social media, and retargeting.

Armed with deep insights into the Literacy education market and an understanding of effective channels, your outstanding communication, interpersonal, and data-backed skills will guide the orchestration and assessment of campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing campaigns and programs to activate and engage teacher leaders to recommend and influence k-12 education decision makers

  • Drive acquisition of teachers, lead management and nurturing projects to increase funnel velocity.

  • Collaborate across the team to build "buyer journey" campaign strategies to bring prospects from acquisition to purchase.

  • Continually measure, monitor, and drive improvement in program approaches; employ industry best practices and look for opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency

  • Contribute thought leadership to drive overall performance and brand growth efforts, including making omnichannel strategy and marketing technology recommendations.

  • Help to define cross-brand strategy and drive implementation.

  • Stay informed about industry developments and quickly incorporate new best practices.

  • Facilitate production meetings to plan and prioritize requests and adjust course as necessary.

  • Experience leading planning and teams to execute full funnel marketing programs for the Literacy education market, from demand generation through reporting on the outcomes of campaigns compared to business targets.

  • Plan, design, create and execute multi-tactic marketing programs for both demand generation and drive nurturing programs. Tactics may include content syndication, email marketing, events and webinars, direct mail, telemarketing, print advertising, internal and external newsletters, etc.

  • Partner with product marketing, sales and external resources to create targeted messaging and content to support brand awareness and demand generation, i.e. content for our website, digital ads, landing pages, emails, video, interactive, etc.

  • Provide highly disciplined and organized project management and excellent communication across functional teams.

  • Build exceptional partnering relationships, collaborate and manage inside and external resources as needed to execute programs.

  • Manage assigned budgets and duties as required.

  • Develop and create annual marketing plans, quarterly updates to strategy, and manage timelines and execution across marketing resources.

  • Provide reporting and closely monitor and study the health of marketing contribution to the sales pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.

  • Partner with marketing operations and shared services to drive marketing database strategy and execute on campaigns, i.e. design and editorial services.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Present regularly on program performance and learnings to key stakeholders

  • Ability to indirectly head teams to oversee and deploy resources to execute multiple projects simultaneously..

  • Takes initiative and functions effectively, both autonomously and as a member of a team, with a willingness to take on and assist with routine and last-minute projects.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years in crafting marketing initiatives with an emphasis on engagement and content creation.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is a plus.

  • Thrives in a team-based, strategic planning environment with routine metrics evaluations.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various organizations.

  • Recognizes the pivotal role of educators in decision-making processes.

  • Stellar project management abilities.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation systems (Eloqua highly preferred) and familiarity with Salesforce preferred

  • Background in education technology, publishing, or software marketing.

  • Demonstrated experience in various marketing domains, including social platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn), search strategies, advertising, and events.

  • An exemplary leader, team player, and self-driven individual.

  • Excellent leader, team-player and self-motivator with the ability to get the job done

  • Maintain organized project management and ensure seamless communication across teams.

  • Cultivate robust partnerships and manage both internal and external resources for campaign execution.

  • Oversee budgets and other relevant duties.

  • Formulate annual marketing plans, update strategies quarterly, and manage execution timelines.

  • Monitor marketing contributions, evaluate program ROI, gauge customer engagement, and review contact activity.

  • Collaborate with marketing operations to guide marketing database strategies and campaign execution.

  • Rely on experience and insight for planning, with a healthy dose of creativity welcomed.

  • Present updates on campaign performance and insights to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate resources to manage multiple projects.

  • Proactively manage, both autonomously and within teams, and assist with both routine and ad-hoc projects.
