Responsibilities

  • Private Bankers develop and manage a portfolio of private banking clients including business owners and senior executives, entrepreneurs, doctors and other medical practitioners, attorneys, CPA's and wealthy individuals and families
  • Work with the Credit Underwriting team, Wealth team, and Closing team to facilitate approval or denial and closing of lending opportunities
  • Deliver a differentiated client experience for the affluent market that supports MidFirst Bank's values through a consultative, customized needs-based approach and proactive long-term relationship management
  • Participate in an end-to-end sales process, primarily through regular client engagement, to help identify their services usage, loan, and business opportunities, including needs assessment, in tandem with Private Bank Relationship Managers and assist with in-depth discovery meetings, solution presentations, and ongoing client communication
  • Cultivate referral networks through active community involvement and professional group affiliations to source new affluent clients and proactively introduce the Relationship Managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year institution preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of private banking experience in a client facing role serving high net-worth individual, families and family offices
  • Candidate must have business development, lending experience and strong ties in the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada market
  • Verbal and written communication skills along with telephone and computer usage are critical to the job
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and communicate complex information (i.e., speaking to clients and within small groups, read credit reports and required documents, etc.). This role occasionally operates an automobile traveling to client locations
