Summary:

In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders including the C-suite to create and prioritize key spend management strategies and execute these plans for a complex hospital system provider. You will have oversight for strategic sourcing, category management, P2P and Core Tenet support. You will work with key stakeholders of the provider organization and internal Vizient departments and peers to maintain and continuously improve all hospital-based supply chain operations across the provider organization. You will deliver supply chain operational excellence by ensuring reliable and efficient supply chain processes that meet all Vizient's and provider's requirements and key performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with spend management leaders to ensure strategic alignment and strong coordination throughout the engagement.

  • Work with spend management leaders to assign team members to complete the elements of the project, and ensure communication regarding roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

  • Execute significant strategic, operational, and cultural plans that require change within the spend management domain and across Vizient.

  • Develop key partnerships and relationships across a matrixed environment to drive operational excellence.

  • Craft and deliver influential communications on multi-dimensions with clarity, confidence, and persuasion to senior executive-level audiences, both within Vizient and with providers.

  • Ensure that the multiple priorities set by the provider and Vizient are managed and completed and that the teams are delivering high levels of service and value which can be measured, documented, and reported against.

  • Accountable for delivering against financial guarantees and savings targets for holistic engagement.

  • Establish and lead the Vizient / provider governance structure for the engagement.

  • Facilitate and lead stakeholder calls/meetings and provider signoffs on critical milestones and activities.

  • Oversee development of project plans, performance dashboards and process improvement A3's to ensure resources are meeting KPIs and delivering savings by category in accordance with agreed upon goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. A master's degree is desired.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required in healthcare supply chain or healthcare consulting.

  • Experience across a broad spectrum of supply chain disciplines such as sourcing, procurement, and distribution is required.

  • Prior experience working directly with health system executives to understand their needs and translate them into actionable recommendations and results required.

  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills and proven ability to achieve results is required.

  • Experience effectively presenting to and influencing "C" level decision makers - CEO, COO, CFO required.

  • Trusted advisor, strong executive presence, and complex business problem-solving skills required.

  • Experience leveraging analytics into scalable solutions, creating, and facilitating presentations to clients, and developing support materials.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$156,500.00 - $244,400.00
