Job Description

To perform all required operations and processes to spray paint on a variety of drilling rigs, related components, and parts. Spray according to the prescribedstandards, and specifications within company safety guidelines.

The Role:

  • Detect and report defective materials
  • Refer questionable matters to proper supervision
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations

Skills:

  • Ability to work from schedules, specifications, instructions, and shop orders
  • Must be able to use gauges, measuring devices
  • Familiar with finish painting methods and techniques, test procedures, and equipment maintenance
  • Requires the use of judgment to apply finish coat(s) and trim to finished drilling rigs
  • Must know how to plan work sequences, apply colors, carry out prescribed tests, make adjustments diagnose and correct faulty operations
  • Required to read, write, and comprehend English
  • To have a positive attitude, be responsible and accountable, be a team player, attention to detail, be open-minded, and be results-driven

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool or GED
  • 3 years minimum of paint experience
