Job Description
The Regional Health care Services Manager provides advice, service, and guidance to a group of Health care Specialists.
* Ensures Health care Specialist perform equipment setups in a timely and professional manner
* may include highly technical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP/Bilevel units
* Makes certain that patient education is an intricate part of the patient care activity and is performed in accordance with the patient needs and the company's policy
* Ensures that complete and professional patient assessments are performed in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
* Maintains current knowledge of respiratory home care techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts
* Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities, and content of written reports
* Ensures the maintenance of patient records in a complete and organized manner and in compliance with accreditation standards
* Maintains department expenses within limits as determined by the supervisor
* Participates in trade shows, exhibits, advertising campaigns, and education of referral sources
* Maintains knowledge of the respiratory market and assists with technical support for staff
* Provides updated information to supervisor in a timely manner
* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (i.e. DOT, OSHA, DEA, EEO), as well as internal policies and procedures
* Maintains ongoing quality improvement programs as directed by the company's policies and procedures
* May perform equipment setups as needed in accordance with policy
