Job Description:

This entry-level Technician will perform field inspections of sewer systems, maintain and install temporary flow metering equipment, operate internal video inspection equipment and vans, enter data into the computer, and learn specialized software. They must also be willing to enter sewer manholes, as well as obtain Confined Space Training.

Field work primarily includes, but not limited to:

• Confined space entries

• Sewer inspection and evaluation

• Flow metering

• Sewer internal video inspection

• Smoke and dye testing

• Field surveying

• Contractor observation

Office work primarily include, but not limited to:

• Computer data entry

• Reporting

• Record keeping

• Document printing/scanning

• Equipment maintenance

• Vehicle maintenance

Candidate Specifications:

• Candidate must have a High School diploma and a valid NJ Driver's license

• 1 to 2 years of college coursework is preferred

• They must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required

• Technicians must be able to work a flexible work schedule, with possibly early morning/late evening and weekend/holiday work possible, especially during wet weather conditions
