Job Overview:
  • Work Schedule: 2-2-3 Schedule, Nights 6p - 6a
  • Responsible for maintaining, installing and troubleshooting all plant instrumentation and other control systems. Applies basic knowledge and understanding of programming and troubleshooting plant controls processes and the equipment used to control those processes.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Works cross-functionally taking on varying assignments including: supporting operations and maintenance by troubleshooting utilizing PLCs and electric test equipment.
  • Replaces failed Electrical components and download parameters as needed.
  • Uploads from a PLC and HMI and use to troubleshoot.
  • Executes PLC code changes under the guidance from more experienced Techs.
  • Utilizes Asset Center/RS Linx knowledge.
  • Participates in the development of ideas and concepts.
  • Participates or supports cross-functional teams in the building or improving of capital assets or the commercialization of new products.
  • Solves technical problems & issues.
  • Identifies improvements or modification opportunities.
  • Communicates status of active work.
  • Ensures GMP, safety and quality for all proposed modifications.

What You Will Need:
  • 2 year technical degree in electrical technology plus 1 year of experience working with PLC controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of experience working with PLC controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment.

  • Required to climb stairs and ladders; required to conduct work at heights.

  • Knowledgeable of Electrical Safety procedures.

  • May be required to work a rotating shift/schedule (e.g., day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10) as well as weekends and overtime.

  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $31.80 - $42.97 /Per Hour
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
