YOUR PURPOSE:

The Senior UX Researcher at Lennar will focus on enhancing the internal sales associate experience through comprehensive field research and usability testing, particularly of internal tools like Salesforce. This role requires a deep understanding of UX best practices, research methods, and the ability to independently translate business needs into actionable insights and detailed reports. This position will employ a variety of UX documentation and analysis tools to investigate sales associate behaviors, customer journeys, and website usability. This role demands a combination of evaluative and generative research skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.



Responsibilities

  • Conduct Field Research and Observations: Perform in-depth field research and observations of sales associates in call centers and community locations to understand their experiences and challenges.
  • Perform Usability Testing: Execute usability testing and evaluation of internal tools and software, particularly focusing on the Salesforce experience, to identify areas of improvement and ensure intuitive use.
  • Develop and Execute Research Plans: Understand and translate business requirements into comprehensive research plans, create hypotheses, execute these plans, and write detailed reports on the findings.
  • Produce UX Documentation: Generate key UX documents such as Mind Maps, Customer Journey Maps, Empathy Maps, Affinity Diagrams, Feature Audits, Task Flows, survey documents, and Excel reports.
  • Formulate and Test Hypotheses: Regularly formulate hypotheses based on website analytics and customer feedback, and appropriately test them to drive conversion and improve user experience.
  • Perform Evaluative and Generative Research: Conduct a combination of evaluative and generative research studies on Lennar's digital tools and websites to continuously improve user experience.
  • Leverage Analytics Tools: Utilize analytics tools like FullStory, Hotjar, and Google Analytics, and employ quantitative techniques to measure UX goals, determine opportunities, and support product decision-making.
  • Assist with Customer Persona and Journey Creation: Help in ongoing efforts to create and refine customer personas, customer journeys, and investigate buyer behavior to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the user base.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Sciences, or related discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in User Experience, Product Design, or a related discipline as a UX researcher, preferably for a national level website or digital product.
  • Experience must include a mix of both qualitative and quantitative research methods and report writing.
  • Demonstrated competency conducting field research and observations in various environments.
  • Proficiency in usability testing and evaluation of internal tools and software, with a particular focus on Salesforce or similar platforms.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Senior UX Researcher to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. Travel is required.
