Perform PMs in all areas of plant, both internal and external to the facility. This will include, but not limited to, greasing bearings/slides, changing shafts/air cylinders/solenoids, gearboxes, light bulbs, belts, fabricating guards, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and completing maintenance work orders. Continually improve machine reliability. Lay-out, drill, cut and weld enclosures, machinery cabinets.*Lay-out, drill, cut and weld enclosures, machinery cabinets*Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams pertaining to the machinery that are assigned.*Must have experience on Lathe to fit bearings to shaft, manufacture simple parts, and turn simple shafts.*Troubleshoot, in a logical manner, mechanical and electrical problems with machinery/plant equipment. Be able to check equipment, components for voltage shorts or irregularities.*Must be able, when given a project, design, procure material, and complete it with minimum supervision.*Must be able to keep work area/machinery clean and organized*Familiar with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, slip joint pliers, hammers, drills, electrical circuit diagnostic tools.*Must finish work orders in timely manner ensuring that they are correct and complete,Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills:*Must understand and read basic instructions*Basic machining skills on lathe/milling machine*Basic knowledge of common hand tool*Ability to read ruler/tape measure/ calipers / micrometers*Ability to isolate circuits and de-energize to perform work safely*Basic knowledge of motors and control circuits*Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire drawings*Good oral and written communication abilities*Good Mechanical and Electrical trouble shooting abilities*Welding, brazing, machiningPEFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*Welding, brazing, machining*Basic control circuits*Motors and Drives Work Environment: *Includes all plant areas, indoors and outdoors as needed.*Concrete Floors, roof areas*Working at heights, hot work*Works near energized and moving equipment.Physical Demands:*Required to wear hearing protection, safety glasses, uniform, hairnet, glovesand steel toed shoes*Required to lift, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and crawl.
