We are seeking a Planning Manager to be responsible for the Carrollton planning team. As the Planning Manager, you will drive improvement of supply assumptions, exception management and root cause analysis to identify deviations and issues for the long-term planning. You will act as a strategic partner, skilled in change management and highly proficient in influencing across a wide network of stakeholders. You may manage a team of individuals with varying levels of experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure the production planning team behavior complies with Ecolab's high safety standards and are active participants in improving the plant's safety culture.
  • Manage, train, and coach the production planning team to drive continuous improvement of the production planning process and manage the PP&D process for direct reports.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve results for plant efficiency and service metrics. Work with appropriate groups to improve inputs to the process and ensure master data is maintained.
  • Participate in the monthly supply meeting on behalf of the plant as part of the S&OP process.
  • Represent the supply chain planning team as part of the plant leadership team and participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Manage deviations to production run rates and material supply concerns by collaborating with corporate planning, procurement, and sister plants.
  • Continuously drive the material planning process improvement and resiliency plans. Collaborate with procurement on supplier quality concerns & improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor the plant production planning dashboard in area of responsibility, including but not limited to CLS, schedule adherence, inventory, DOS, On Time PO Creation, and E&O.
  • Manage area of accountability to achieve plant KPIs as part of the OGSM management process.
  • Work with corporate planning, the Kay business, quality, and RD&E to ensure new products are produced to standard and on time for launches


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years of Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing experience
  • 1 year experience leading others
  • Proficiency with an ERP, advanced planning system, analytical system or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
  • Advanced technical or business degree, MBA preferred
  • Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Green Belt, etc.
  • APICS Certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Ability to create, clearly articulate and execute on a strategic vision
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Operations, Marketing and Suppliers
  • Skilled in resolving conflict situations effectively
