OverviewThe Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team is responsible for monetization strategy, pricing, and packaging constructs for products representing over $100 billion of annual revenue. As a Senior Director, Business Planning, you will deliver real impact by:Collaborating with engineering to turn new IP and product roadmaps into revenue, growth, and profitability for MicrosoftCreating business model frameworks that align with customer valueOptimizing customer experience through new commerce innovationCreating incentive structures for our partner ecosystem to deliver value for end-customersImproving operational execution and effectivenessDeveloping offer strategies to accelerate cross-cloud adoption and new user growthMicrosoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. ResponsibilitiesAttract, retain, and grow a team of business planning talent. Lead with trust, inclusion and valuing diverse perspectives and ideas.Lead cross-functional teams to land monetization strategy, pricing decisions, and packaging constructs for your product areas.Contribute to the cultural health across the organization in the areas of trust, inclusion and diversity.Coach your team to grow their analytical, strategic, business, executive communications, and operational excellence capabilities.Partner with finance to determine the revenue and customer lifetime value impact of business model decisionsCollaborate with product engineering and product marketing on product vision, offer strategy and packaging constructsEngage with our Operations & Business Insights team to optimize pricing and launch products across hundreds of regions worldwideContribute to a diverse and inclusive culture within your team and at MicrosoftEmbody our Culture and Values
