POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a AVP HR (Strategic HR Business Partner) to provide HR expertise and strategic leadership to achieve optimal business results for the organization. In collaboration with their client group's leadership team, the AVP HR (Strategic HR Business Partner) develops and executes comprehensive talent strategies, initiatives and action plans that optimize organizational performance and effectiveness to deliver our customer first promise and achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

This role will be responsible for deploying and leveraging COE (global and local) programs and services for talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, benefits, compensation, rewards and recognition to drive employee engagement and enablement, optimize employee capabilities and performance.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary of $140,000 - $175,000 plus bonus (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as partner, subject matter expert, advisor, sounding board and coach to client group's leadership team and Americas HR team
  • Bring high impact solutions and risk mitigation strategies to address people-related issues and challenges
  • Influence and advise on client group's business decisions balancing employee advocacy with the needs and best interest of the business
  • Ensure organizational success in complex business situations such as mergers, acquisitions, integration, transformation, major programs, and organizational redesigns
  • Collaborate with the client group's senior leaders to develop and implement a talent optimization plan that the development of high performing teams and resources planning to maximize business performance

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible HR experience required, including with 4 years in an HR Business Partner capacity
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of senior level human resource experience with demonstrated success in creating and driving high impact change management and business transformation background
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
  • US and Canada employment law knowledge
  • Must be able to travel 30%

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Master's degree in HR, Business, I/O Psychology, or other relevant field preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
  • Previous experience integrating acquired businesses
  • Ability to navigate in a global matrix structure
