Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field plus two (2) years of experience with one (1) year in a supervisory role in a behavioral healthcare setting required.
Supervisory experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Must be licensed by the Arkansas Professional Board as an LCSW or LPC for at least three (3) years.
Must be CPI-certified within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in outpatient behavioral health program(s).
Experience working directly with preschoolers/children/teens in a mental health or social service setting.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for screening and identifying children and adolescents with mental health needs.
Meets with invested partners addresses concerns or issues and develops individual program plans.
Assists with clinical services as needed: filling in clinically when short-staffed; (i.e. Assessments, crisis appointments, group, individual, and family). Additionally, all MHPs must adhere to the PRI Billing Policy, PC25. Non-compliance may include progressive discipline up to and including dismissal in addition to financial penalties.
Responsible for assisting leadership with oversight of the program's day-to-day function, both clinically and administratively.
Oversees staff and their work toward meeting the federal performance standards including meeting documentation guidelines; and gathers data and presents it through reports to leadership as requested.
Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and revision of program policies and procedures as needed.
Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of training agendas at the program level, in addition to training new program staff.
Assists with the hiring of staff.
Oversees the referral/assessment process.
Provides direct supervision to Mental Health Professionals (MHP) and Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHP) (clinically and/or administratively) to program staff.
Ensures staff are competent/ skilled to perform their duties.
Provides examples of independent judgment and decision-making authority and impact of decisions.
Works with minimal supervision.
Makes appropriate decisions related to treatment issues and mandated reports independently, with direct clinical supervision on a quarterly or as-needed basis.
Maintains client confidentiality in accordance with legal and professional ethical standards.
Accountable for meeting documentation and billing deadlines and standards as set by program and departmental policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
