The Senior Chief Engineer is part of the Warranty team and will be providing professional consulting and support to various groups throughout the organization; defining root causes for trending and systemic kitchen and utility equipment and building issues - primarily focusing on Building Systems that include HVAC units and control systems, kitchen hood ventilation, walk-in refrigeration, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also have common technical knowledge of Electrical Systems & Components, Mechanical & Exhaust Systems & Components and Plumbing Systems & Components. The MEP Technical Consultant team is tasked with continuously monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of existing assets in order to discover defects, improve reliability, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction more quickly.

Location: Candidates to live close to a major airport to be able to travel throughout the U.S.


SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to identify trending MEP issues, define root causes, and test & validate solutions.
Ability to interpret and fully understand TAB reports and Building Commissioning documents.
You will successfully read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Effectively communicate with design professionals (internal and external), General contractors and suppliers.
Provide technical leadership and support to key internal stakeholders.
Effectively coach and encourage Operators on proper kitchen and utility equipment operations and maintenance.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and equipment manufacturers.


SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's or Associates degree (Business, Architecture, Construction or Technical Trade) or equivalent work experience.
Experience with building codes (NFPA, NEC), ADA Compliance
Certification/Experience in MEP; MEP Subject Matter Expert, CEFESA Master Technician.

Strong Project Management and Communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
Proficiency in Smartsheet
Ability to travel - 50%
