The Role
As a Senior Data Strategy Consultant at Cognizant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients develop and implement data strategies that align with their business objectives and drive measurable results. You will be responsible for leading engagements, providing strategic guidance, and delivering actionable insights to clients across all stages of the data lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities related to data management and analytics.
- Lead the development of comprehensive data strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Design scalable and efficient data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines, to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Drive the development of advanced analytics solutions, predictive models, and data visualizations to extract actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in implementing organizational changes required to adopt data-driven practices and foster a data-driven culture.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence, and share insights with clients and internal teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and deliverables, and ensure successful project outcomes within budget and scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 10+ years in data strategy consulting, with a focus on developing and implementing data management, analytics, and governance solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, database technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $95,500 -$214,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
