Hiring for Business Development Director at Methodist Mckinney Hospital
As Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Business Development Director, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute development strategies to promote surgical and ancillary services within hospital and ASC settings. Your role encompasses building and maintaining relationships with hospital and ASC staff, including physicians, nurses, administrators, and purchasing departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Recruitment Strategy:** Develop comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with the company's objectives to increase services and expand market share.
  • **Market Analysis:** Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities. Utilize this information to refine recruitment and marketing strategies.
  • **Client Relationship Management:** Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within hospitals, including physicians, nurses, department heads, and hospital and ASC administrators. Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all recruitment and marketing-related inquiries.
  • **Hospital and ASC Promotion:** Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of hospital and ASC services to target audience. Conduct presentations, and tours as needed.
  • **Marketing Campaigns:** Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities within the hospital and ASC settings. This may include organizing or sponsoring events, and distributing marketing materials.
  • **Sales Forecasting and Reporting:** Monitor performance, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to management. Utilize sales data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment strategies.
  • **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards with activities conducted within the hospital and ASC settings.
  • **Continuous Learning:** Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in healthcare technology, and changes in hospital and ASC policies and procedures. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in hospital or ASC business development or medical device or pharmaceutical sales and marketing

- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

- Strong understanding of hospital and ASC operations, healthcare systems, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

- Willingness to travel throughout DFW and potentially outside of the market if needed.
